Andrew Donato, MD
Dr. Donato began his career in Emergency Medicine and has amassed over 30 years of experience in treating both acute and chronic wounds in the Midlands region of South Carolina.
He was appointed to the position of Assistant Clinical Professor of Surgery by the University of South Carolina School of Medicine in 1996 for his efforts in medical student wound care education. His dedication to the field led him to complete specialty training in chronic wound care, allowing him to refine his skills and broaden his expertise.
Dr. Donato is deeply committed to alleviating the challenges faced by chronic wound patients who experience difficulty in traveling to wound care centers. Through his innovative approach and compassionate care, he ensures these patients receive the expert specialty treatment they need, without the inconvenience of waiting rooms and transportation issues.
